Hello Enthusiacs! The Nintendo Switch is finally revealed. Does this excite you? Are you not entertained? What is Nintendo trying to do with this handheld, console hybrid? Should we call it a hand-con? They already call the controllers Joy-con, so that would fit. Anyhow, this week Dave joins us to discuss what we know about the Switch, and what the future may hold for it. In particular, just what is Nintendo trying to do, and what market are they trying to serve with the Switch. Nintendo is probably the most innovative and disruptive presence in the games industry, and out of the box the Switch does not seem to offer much, yet many developers are interested in working on it. In the end, only time will tell if this will be a success like the Wii, NES, or SNES, a respected competitor like the N64 or GameCube, or a failure like the Wii U or Virtual Boy.
