This week we present a look back at a classic rpg that to this day has yet to be repeated. Today we look at Ultima 4: The Quest of the Avatar.
Following the smash hits that were the first Ultima trilogy Richard Garriott took his rpg dynasty in an entirely new direction eliminating the same tired cliched story of “Him bad you good go kill” that the first three games had.
Here it is simply a journey of enlightenment as you master the eight virtues of honesty, compassion, valor, justice, sacrifice, honor, humility, and spirituality. And becoming the Avatar.
It’s an excellent adventure I’m sure you won’t regret setting out on.
