Nuzlocke

What better way to enjoy the holidays than to sit down and watch a Let’s Play where if the Pokemon faint…they die! That’s what a Nuzlocke run is all about! So join us as we take our first step into the abyss and tackle this classic Pokemon game, but with the twist of death!

So what are the specifics of a Nuzlocke run you might ask? Well, the rules tend to vary from player to player but these are the ones we’ll be going with here:

NUZLOCKE RULES:

– Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released or put in the Pokémon Storage System permanently.
– The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.
– All Pokémon must be nicknamed.
– Species Clause: The trainer can keep fighting Pokémon in the area until one is encountered that has not been caught yet, which then immediately counts as the first encounter.

Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Blue Version, originally released in Japan as Pocket Monsters: Red & Green are role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy in 1996.
