Our heroes are heading to fire mountain a place where legend tells us a monster known as the Ox King rules with an iron fist

Bulma of course doesn’t believe the legend which in my opinion goes into the bonehead pile as she has seen a lot of weird shit to suddenly question rather or not this thing exist. They find the mountain is well named as what they believed to be sunset light was in fact the mountain itself burning.

Back with Emperor Pilaf Shu and Mai return with the bad news that they have once again failed. Pilaf reacts like you would expect and puts them into a torture device and electrocutes them. This backfired and gave him a good zap himself.

Meanwhile Yamcha and Puar are trying to get a good shot of Goku being beaten by the Ox King when they see a young woman running away from a dinosaur. However in a flash she turns around and launches a blade from her helmet and cuts the things head off. The helmet then fires a beam that vaporizes the remains. Yamcha clearly shocked by this congratulates her but she turns on him much like the dinosaur believe him to be a danger and he proves her right dodging her beam and knocking her out.

Back on fire mountain the Ox King reveals himself believing Goku and friends to be thieves and he goes to battle with Goku. Goku dodges him with the help of the nimbus which gives Ox pause. He demands to know where Goku got that cloud. Goku explains he got it from Master Roshi. Ox reveals he was Roshi’s student once upon a time. He also tell them he sent his daughter to find Master Roshi as he needs to aid of the Bansho Fan Roshi has to put out the fire and get back to his home. Now an ally he offers Goku his daughter ChiChi’s hand in marriage if he will complete her mission and she her home safe. Goku accepts believing marriage to be a type of cake.

Yamcha and Puar who are overhearing completely freak out when they see the picture of Ox’s daughter. He and puar run back to where they left the young girl and is happy to see she isn’t dead like he thought. Seriously I know she shot at you but trying to kill a little kid again wtf Yamcha?

Chi-Chi wakes up and immediately gets ready to attack Yamcha. In panic, Yamcha tells Chi-Chi he is a secret admirer of hers and is in love with her. Suddenly Yamcha spots Goku and so with Puar he escapes, while Chi-Chi is busy talking to herself. Goku flys down and explains to her what happened at fire mountain and the two head off toward Roshi’s place.

Here is where we discover one of Goku’s biggest weaknesses. ChiChi grabs his tail and he is rendered paralyze. Yamcha overhears this learning a way to defeat Goku when the time comes for round three between them.

As Goku and Chi-Chi fly through the desert, he pats her on the crotch (as he usually does) to determine if she is a girl or not, which, of course, she is. Completely embarrassed and horrified, Chi-Chi shoves Goku off of the nimbus, and he drops like a stone and ChiChi with no idea how to fly crashes the nimbus.

Cut ahead as the two ask a dolphin how to find Roshi’s island and our episode ends with the pair meeting Roshi and the Turtle on his island.

Overall this is a very fun episode. I enjoyed it and it’s one of the few times we’ve seen a two parter in Dragonball.
