THEN at a later date Perfect Cell somehow comes back to life and trains for four months, unlocking his Super Golden Perfect Cell form, only to narrowly be defeated by Goku’s Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Green form! Brilliant!
I appreciated that all the Z fighters got to do their thing. I didn’t like that Goku has been consistently training for years, reached a new form, but had a hard time with Frieza. Yes, his gold form is more powerful, but we proved in DBZ that Frieza’s raw power couldn’t win without training and tempering of his ego. I just didn’t like how it went down. Good movie overall, though!
