[PROTOTYPE] puts us in the meaty shoes of one Alex Mercer, bearer of this new prototype virus, as he goes on a roaring rampage of revenge through the streets of New York to find the people who have done this to him and to make them pay. Them, and anyone else who stands in his way, innocent or guilty alike!

[PROTOTYPE] is an open world action-adventurevideo game developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Activision. The game was released in North America on June 9, 2009 (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360), in southwestern parts of North America (Microsoft Windows)
