Web of Shadows is perhaps one of the greatest Spider-Man video games ever created, and based off of the Twitter poll I ran ended up being the most requested Spidey game of the four available selections, even beating out the PS4 game! But what endears the game so much to the fans?

Is it the gameplay? The ability to swap between the classic red costume and the silky smooth black symbiote costume, each with its own moveset? Is it the story, where New York City is consumed by a symbiote invasion and Spider-Man finds his morals tested? Is it the cheesy voice acting? Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is a 2008 full-3D action-adventure open world game for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360. It was developed by Shaba Games and Treyarch and published by Activision.
