Hello Enthusiacs and welcome to Episode 11 of Dragonball. If you remember last time our heroes were captured by Emperor Pilaf, who now has six of the seven dragonballs. The episode begins with him sending his minion to search our heroes car for the final dragonball. He still doesn’t know that Goku has the final ball on his person.

Goku and Yamcha decide the best idea here is to punch there way out of the room. Normally I would mock them for being this stupid but honestly this is the first time punching hasn’t solved their problem. However even Goku can’t punch through steel yet so they are not able to escape.

This is when Pilaf makes his presents felt and we learn he has been watching them the entire time. Bulma tells him the kid version of fuck off and he grabs her with his claw and threatens the treatment. What is the treatment you ask? Why he blows her a kiss……WEAK!

He then decides why should he ask them for the dragonball when he can just gas them and search them while they are out cold. Pilaf having knock out gas after the blowing a kiss bit is a little creepy but moving on. This is when he has yet another dumbass moment by running into the room before the gas has cleared and of course he passes out. Shu and Mai come behind him with gas mask and find the Dragonball Goku has in his pocket.

Now they head out to summon Shenlong (or Shenron depending on your version) however they leave the cage open so once they wake up our heroes give chase. This is when they run into the giant pinball machine which leads to a scooby doo chase until Goku has had enough and Kamehamehas his way out. However as he is weakened he only makes a hole big enough for Pilaf and Oolong.

They turn into bats and find that Pilaf has now summoned the Dragon ending this episode.

I’m not going to BS you here this episode felt like complete filler. This could have been a two minute sting on the front of the next episode and the rest could be skipped. Not that it’s a bad episode it just felt like they were setting up a showdown and then drug their feet.
