The much anticipated Annabelle spin-off of the Conjuring is in the works! According to numerous reports, Annabelle Wallis (yes, Annabelle) and Ward Horton are set to star, with Conjuring director James Wan returning as a producer for the upcoming spin-off. The film is listed as in post-production so my guess is we can expect to see it around fall next year.

True to horror fashion, there is also a Conjuring sequel (or sequels, as rumored) in the works. Because if it did well, milk that bitch as long as you can! According to the folks at cinema blend, they’ve hit a bit of a legal bump in terms of gaining the rights to more Warren cases for films that are sure to come. But as we all know some cold cash will do the trick. So I highly doubt this will cause much more than a ripple, if that, in moving ahead. And it shouldn’t affect Annabelle in the slightest, as they’ve already had the ability to cover that case.

In 1970 the Annabelle doll was purchased and given to the buyer’s daughter. What happened next is enough to give anyone chills. Haven’t heard the story? No idea who Annabelle is? Well two things. Firstly, shame on you for not seeing The Conjuring!!
